Back to back classes are coming your way!!!!! On July 12th, Roxane will be repeating her class by request with kombucha & kefir recipes to help with digestion support. She will be teaching how to make your own homemade kombucha. You will take home a bottle of homemade kombucha and a scoby to start making your own kombucha. We will also have special dips and recipes with homemade kefir. Roxane will show you how digestion support will make you a healthier person. You will be taught how to make recipes like “Brined kombucha roasted chicken with herb butter”, “Roasted beet & walnut salad with kombucha vinaigrette”, and “Mixed organic greens with a kombucha mustard vinaigrette”. You will also learn how to make “Lemon Kefir Soup”, “Grilled salmon with spiced citrus kefir sauce”, and for dessert, “Kefir with lemon zest & raspberries”.
Sample a “Honey ginger switchel”, “Peach kombucha” and an “Apple cinnamon kombucha”.
Enjoy white & red wine, kombucha, herbal teas, and coffee.
Cost is $30.00 and starts at 5:45. $10 discount for both classes
On July 13th we will be teaching a class on Brazilian cuisine. Bring out the skewers and the BBQ’s. This class will be hosted in the back yard around the kitchen. Don’t worry we will be in the shade.
We will be starting the evening with ““Grilled white cheese with oregano oil”, and “Pastels” served with a “Papaya orange sparkling punch”, wine, & beers.
During the class you will skewer and serve recipes like “Grilled roast with onion marinade and chimichurri sauce”, “Pork kabobs with blistered chile pumpkin salsa”, “BBQ mushrooms with Brazilian spices” and “Grilled pineapple”.
We will also be preparing Brazilian fish stew (yes, on the BBQ), and creating traditional salad & side dishes. For dessert “Bolo de Fuba”.
**Our cocktail selection will consist of a “Blended tangerine cocktail”, and a “Brazilian mojito”, and a “Brazilian lemonade”.
This will be a hands on course, so bring your aprons!!! Samples of all drinks & foods created will be available for your enjoyment.
The class will be held at 11712 E. Boone Ave in the Spokane Valley and starts at 5:45 P.M. and last until 8:30 P.M.. You must be 21 years of age or older.
The cost is $45.00 per person. Class size is limited.
